2022 Impact Awards: Nominations Now Open!

NEW Nomination Process for 2022
Nominators complete a brief online form requesting nominee contact information and summary of their impact. Nominees are notified and MUST complete an online form sharing their story and answering questions about their work to finalize the nomination.
 
Nominations for the IMPACT Awards open on Monday August 1, 2022 and close on Monday, September 12, 2022 at 5 PM (EST).

Nominee must be a volunteer engagement professional (paid or unpaid) based in the United States or a US Territories. Membership to AL!VE is NOT required. Current AL!VE board members are NOT eligible for nomination.
 
Colleagues, peers, and supervisors are encouraged to nominate eligible volunteer engagement professionals. Self-nominations are welcome. Regardless of the nominator, the nominee is required to submit additional information for consideration by Monday, September 12, 2022 at 5 PM (EST).
 
Nominations are judged based on the fully completed nomination form by both nominator and nominee. The judging panel consists of former IMPACT Award winners.

There are two categories of awards, Emerging Leader and Exemplary Leader. Three recipients will be selected from each category and receive $500, $250, and $125, respectively. The funds are to be used for professional development within 18 months of receipt. Cash awards are disbursed by AL!VE. Recipients are encouraged to serve on the next year’s judging panel.
 
Exemplary Leader Award 
The nominee must have been a volunteer engagement professional for at least 8 years with volunteer engagement as their primary responsibility, or has been significantly involved in education or research in the field of volunteer engagement.

Emerging Leader Award
The nominee must have been a volunteer engagement professional between 3-7 years with volunteer engagement as their primary responsibility, or has been significantly involved in education or research in the field of volunteer engagement.
 
The IMPACT award recipients are announced at the AL!VE/Better Impact/VMPC Hybrid Conference on Tuesday October 18, 2022 (Pacific/Mountain time zones) and Wednesday October 19, 2022 (Central/Eastern time zones).
