Vote for a universal hashtag for our profession!
If you are a volunteer manager, you may have noticed that we use a bewildering array of hashtags to describe our profession. Two CVAs, Liza Dyer and Elisa Kosarin (also an AL!VE member), decided to do something about this confusing slew of options. They reached out to leading influencers in the field and asked them to help identify a universal hashtag for our profession.
Now, we are asking you, our volunteer manager colleagues, to help us narrow down the field and select one universal hashtag that we may all use when sharing information through Twitter or other social media.
Please take a moment to vote on the hashtags. We have 18 possible choices (our influencers are a creative bunch). Vote for your 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place choices. The survey remains open until Friday, September 2. See www.twentyhats.com for more information.
The winner of the universal hashtag vote will be announced through Liza and Elisa's Twitter accounts, @lizaface and @THNonprofit, through AL!VE, and on the TwentyHats.com website on Tuesday, September 6.
