AL!VE Celebrates Graduates of the 2025 Presenter Bootcamp, Equipping Volunteer Engagement Professionals with Transformative Presentation Skills

This year’s cohort, composed of 18 dedicated participants, has successfully completed the intensive training, further enhancing their ability to advocate for and advance the field of volunteerism.

The Presenter Bootcamp, a eight-week program, provides participants with in-depth coaching on public speaking, storytelling, and message delivery, ensuring they are equipped to lead engaging and impactful presentations in various settings, from local volunteer organizations to national conferences.

"The Presenter Bootcamp was a wonderful experience! It was a good networking opportunity, I learned quite a few new approaches to improving my presentation skills (and hopefully my presentations), and I got to workshop a presentation I’m presenting next month. I really appreciate the volunteers who support the Bootcamp, and all my fellow Bootcampers as well,” said Lisa Wetherby, CVA, 2025 graduate of the Presenter Bootcamp.

"This bootcamp was an effective course in presentation preparation, creation, and organization. It was an amazing opportunity to network with professionals who are looking to grow more in their presentation and leadership skills. The practice and exposure to information was irreplaceable and will help propel my public speaking skills for years to come,” said Sage Alexander, who is also a 2025 program graduate.

“Multiple graduates have already begun using their skills to present training within their organizations and multiple have applied to present at regional and national conferences,” shared Presenter Bootcamp Co-Lead Tim Suda, CVA, who is a Disaster Workforce Operations Manager at the American Red Cross.

Congrats to all graduates of the 2025 Presenter Bootcamp: Last but not least, thank you to all of this year’s Presenter Bootcamp facilitators who shared their time and expertise with our budding group of presenters. Thank you: AL!VE remains committed to fostering leadership in volunteer engagement by offering high-quality professional development opportunities. Registration for the next cohort of Presenter Bootcamp will launch in October 2025 and the program will take place February through March 2026, continuing AL!VE’s mission to empower professionals in the field.
