AL!VE Celebrates its 16th Anniversary All June Long
This June, AL!VE proudly marks its 16th anniversary, celebrating a coming-of-age moment in its mission to elevate and empower leaders in volunteer engagement nationwide.AL!VE invites members, partners, and supporters to celebrate this milestone throughout June with a series of special events and giving opportunities. The festivities begin in New Orleans at the Points of Light Conference and closes out with a special webinar providing members with behind-the-curtain access to insights from nonprofits executives.

Founded in 2009, AL!VE has grown into the leading national professional association dedicated to advancing volunteer engagement as a recognized and vital field. With over 1,000 members across 47 states, supported by 123 volunteers and 11 volunteer leaders, the organization has grown to deliver 16 specialized programs including the Presenter Bootcamp, the Emerging Leaders Mentorship Program, and the highly successful CVA Study Group, designed by and for volunteer engagement professionals. In November 2024, AL!VE entered a new era of growth by appointing its first full-time Executive Director. This strategic investment has already enhanced the organization's infrastructure, programs, and national reach—reinforcing its commitment to advocating for the field and equipping volunteer leaders with the tools to drive meaningful community impact.
